A friendly guide to blood type culture from Korea and Japan, made in South Korea.

In Korea, people casually ask each other's blood type. Friends abroad are often surprised by this, so we built a place to explain the tradition and let people try it for themselves.

What's here

• Baby blood type calculator: based on standard ABO and Rh genetics. Percentages use typical population allele frequencies.

Our approach

Blood type personality is not science, and we say so on every page. We present it as culture and entertainment, and keep the medical content factual and cautious. Nothing you enter is sent to a server: all calculations run in your browser.
